Meet Dr. Peter Douglas
Q: Why did you decide to become a dentist?
A: I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare to help others! Dentistry really drew me in as it allows me to use science, art, and technical skills to help people feel comfortable and confident.
Q: Did you have a favorite dentist when you were a kid?
A: My father was a dentist, which means I never had a scheduled appointment in my life! I would always get called in last minute to fill a cancelation.
Q: If you could be a tooth, which one would you be?
A: #3. It's solid, strong, and important, but it doesn't want all the attention. It just wants to chill in the back and be a leader from a far.
Q: What is your favorite flavor of toothpaste?
A: Always mint, everything mint. Nothing makes your mouth feel as clean!
Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
A: I would live in a small ski town in Canada.
Q: If you could be the dentist to any famous person, who would it be?
A: The Kool-Aid Man, because I know he has to have a lot of cavities!
Q: Do you have a favorite childhood toy?
A: As the youngest sibling, I think my favorite toy was whatever my older siblings were playing with at the time. Man, I must have been annoying!
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I grew up in small-town Iowa, which was a lot of fun!
Q: Mountains or beaches?
Why not both?? One of the best parts of living in the PNW is being able to enjoy them both... even though the beaches are a little chilly!
